| Coaching Philosophy |
My primary role as a coach is to help you achieve your goals. I apply a body of scientific knowledge and real-world experience to the goals and needs of each individual. My first responsibility, therefore, is to gain a thorough understanding of your athletic background and current physical status. From there, we take a look at your goals and develop a plan to help you reach your goals. For some, the plan may be fairly straightforward. For others, however, past injuries or schedule limitations require a more creative approach. Additionally, each person responds to training differently, so gaining an understanding of how each person responds to training is also key.
Education is also an important aspect of my coaching relationships, and one of the benefits of open dialogue with your coach. I am also available on an as-needed basis to answer your specific training questions.
Overall, I develop training programs that are fun, safe, and focused on results. |
